How can I get more impressions for Amazon Sponsored Products ads?

Here’s how to get more impressions using Amazon sponsored product ads (taken straight from our years of Amazon PPC experience at AsteroidX).
1. Increase your bid for keywords.

How?

Advertising > Campaign Manager > click the campaign > click the ad group > Keywords > Keyword Bid

Why?

Amazon shows you a “Suggested Bid”. Amazon is saying: “you’ll probably get clicks on your ad if you agree to pay this much per click.”

But you can manually adjust your Keyword Bid to be higher, and you’ll get shown more times. You’re telling Amazon: “I want customers to click even if I have to pay a maximum of $2.40, $2.80, $1.90, etc. per click”. You won’t always pay this amount (might be less).

But, you’ll get more impressions.
2. Add more keywords.

How?

Advertising > Campaign Manager > click the campaign > click the ad group > Create keywords
Why?

More keywords = more opportunities for your listing to get discovered. Add more long-tail keyword variations and more broadly-related terms to reach more people.
